Get prepared: New NCCR Call autumn 2017

foerderung programme nfsThe SNF will launch the call for the 5th series of National Centres of Competence in Research (NCCR) shorty.

Eventhough, the new call is not out yet, the SNF already announced changes in the first stage of the evaluation procedure.

 

 The major changes are:

  • Proposal outlines will be shorter than in the 2011 call
  • A letter of intent including a list of participating researchers, title and project summary has to be submitted 2 months before the submission deadline

There has not been an announcement of changes in the second stage of the evaluation procedure yet. The submission deadline for he outline proposals will be in February/March 2018.

ERICENAERICENA (European Research and Innovation Centre of Excellence in China) is organizing a matchmaking tour in China this September.
This is a great opportunity for all companies and universities interested in doing business in China to meet their counterparts and create networks.

We are proud to announce: Every European participant receives support for the financial expenses of the trip!

 

The subsidy includes:

  • Accommodation in China during the tour up to a maximum of 5 nigths
  • 100 Euro reimbursement for the flights within China

Call for Participation: Seminar - Subsidiary in China

swiss center logoThe Swiss Centers China and the St. Gallen Institute of Management in Asia (SGI-HSG) join forces to offer a one-and-a-half-day seminar dedicated to the Swiss companies who have or who plan to set up subsidiaries in China, and who wish to improve cross-border management methods between Switzerland and China.

The program also includes a practical workshop session where the participants have the opportunities to present concrete cases and questions, and to practice working out answers and implementable guidelines with the support of the experts giving the seminar.

Call for Registration: ERICENA Matchmaking


ERICENA“The European Research and Innovation Centre of Excellence in China (ERICENA) will connect European researchers and entrepreneurs by organising conferences and networking events with China and offering services to expand European organizations to China. It is built by a consortium of 13 European and Chinese partners and a network of 128 partners that act as regional innovation centres, The first action will be a matchmaking tour in Beijing, Chengdu and Qingdao from the 24th-31st of October. Leading technology-based companies and research institutes, as well as innovators, will be visited and opportunities for business initiation will be offered. The entry to the EU-China Business & Technology Cooperation Fair in Chengdu and Qingdao, one of the largest platforms for EU-China investments as well as trade and technology cooperation, is included.

The first International Conference on Research Funding was held on 12 and 13 June 2009 in Zurich. This two-day event was a great success! It was organized with the intention to inform the research community and high-tech and manufacturing SMEs about "Where to acquire and how to deal with funds?" The first day gave visitors an overview of the largest funding opportunities for research ("Where to get funds/grants for R&D?”). On the second day, specific workshops were held on various topics associated with research funding ("How to deal with funds?").
