New EU calls for proposals

The 7th Framework Programme for Research and Development (FP7) of the European Union has been allocated a budget of 53 Billion Euros for the years 2007 to 2013. Within the scope of different calls it offerst enterprises as well as research institutions from all over Europe the chance for scientific and economic collaboration.

On July 30th and 31st new calls for proposals will be published in all thematic areas, with deadlines for submission ranging from Oct. 2009 to March 2010. You can find these calls at http://cordis.europa.eu/fp7/dc/index.cfm

The total budget of the new calls is expected to exceed 3 Billion Euros, with about 1 Billion allocated for the themes Health, Environment, Food and Biotech and another 750 Million Euros for Energy, Transport and Nanosciences, Materials and New Production Technologies (NMP).
