GeldrolleThe starting signal has been given for the last calls within the 7thFramework Programme for research and technological development (FP7). Next year “Science Europe” is having a break to be ready for the new programme Horizon 2020 in 2014.

This means for you as a researcher: it is the last chance to get funding for a long time. But what is possible and what kind of calls will be published?

Whether Health, Food, ICT, Nanotechnology or Space, in July the European Commission will launch the new calls. But project ideas and consortia are often developed previously. Therefore it is mandatory to know the drafts of the particular calls to prepare yourself. Are you interested in having one of these documents? The European Commission has published the orientation papers and drafts of the work programmes here. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need any help.

Of course it does not always have to be a project in the frame of the FP7-Cooperation area. The European Research Council (ERC), the Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI), the FP7-Marie Curie area (INCO, ITN, etc.) and many more will as well publish new calls. We are glad to help you to find the right programme and would also support you during the proposal submission.

But maybe you are already well informed, you know to which call you will submit a proposal and you already have most partners together. In this case we congratulate you and wish you good luck. Just do not forget how much time and nerves require such submission. And if you get your project funded, you are faced with numerous administrative tasks. We would be happy to support you. We can not only help you during the submission phase but can also be a partner in your project. We would then undertake tasks as writing the reports, organising the meetings, monitoring tasks and deliverables and communicating with partners. We can also resume responsibility in the dissemination and exploitation of project results.

We are looking forward to collaborating with you in this last round of FP7 calls.
