Partnering
There are several good reasons to cooperate in research and development with competent partners:
-
Formation of consortia allows the participation in EC-funded Joint Research Projects
-
Access to specific research infrastructure
-
A donor who funds research projects is also an interesting partner
-
Complementary skills open up new research opportunities
-
The exchange of experiences inspires to break new ground
-
etc.
The challenge is always to find the right partner. Only when both sides benefit from each other, a partnership will be interesting. Which benefit do I expect? Which benefit do I offer? These issues should be clarified exactly. As soon as I have defined the profile of requirements clearly I can start to find the right partner.
But the right partner is not always available on one’s database. If you are dedicated to research, there is often a lack of time to build and maintain networks and to connect one’s own organization.
Networking and bringing together research partners is a core competency of EUrelations AG. We are in close contact with funding institutions (e.g. EC, CTI, SNF) and networks (e.g. Medical Cluster, ManuFuture) and represent our clients in forums, conferences and research events.

"I have known and worked with EUrelations team in the frames of our effort for the preparation of the HEROIC FP7 project proposal under very limited time. I have found them to be dependable and of great help in getting our work done in a very effective, inspiring and smooth way. Apart from the administrative and financial support their input was highly appreciated in the scientific part as well. I would be happy to recommend them to anyone who is engaged in the life sciences, biomedical research, and other areas of advanced science and technology.
EUrelations not only helps produce a high quality proposal but also provides important advice and insight into how the scientific part of the proposal would be organized.
I believe that EUrelations is well positioned to provide a wide and important contribution to our scientific fields and related activities."
