The first International Conference on Research Funding was held on 12 and 13 June 2009 in Zurich. This two-day event was a great success! It was organized with the intention to inform the research community and high-tech and manufacturing SMEs about "Where to acquire and how to deal with funds?" The first day gave visitors an overview of the largest funding opportunities for research ("Where to get funds/grants for R&D?”). On the second day, specific workshops were held on various topics associated with research funding ("How to deal with funds?").
