Numerous researchers apply for a scholarship during the course of their careers. This does not only help to implement your project, but also to move up on the career ladder. To boost the excellence of young scientists is the objective of many research funding initiatives. Because by promoting the youth, top-scientists of tomorrow will develop.

But where can you apply for a scholarship?

In Switzerland the system of scholarships is organised in a decentralized manner. Each canton has its own guidelines and rules. If you wish to apply for a grant, the first step is to get in contact with the person responsible in your research institute. She/he will be able to answers fundamental questions and provide all forms.

In some cases, however, they are unable to help you writing your proposal, due to lack of capacities. If you wish further assistance, EUrelations AG can support you with the submission of your application or the development of your CV. Learn more about our trainings here.

There are different possibilities to get your scholarship funded. Find the most important national and international ones in the table below.
