Service Description
This 2-day course provides an overview on the most important national and international Research Funding Programmes (RFO) and a general introduction into the world of research funding. As research is highly depending on third party funding, advocacy and science diplomacy will also be given attention. Researchers or research teams will set up their own strategy to acquire funding depending thir research topics or levels of career. Because this training also contains the basics and benchmarks of how the local as well as the global scientific enterprise functions, and therefore this is MODULE 1 of the coherent training programme for researchers our agency offers. In combination with a Proposal Writing Training (MODULE 2) this equip scientists with the very basics of research management. Target groups: 1. PhD students (organised by doctoral networks, MSCA Projects or Graduate Schools). 2. PostDocs (MSCA Co-Fund or similar groups). 3. Research teams (organised by team leaders, who wish to acquire more third party funding) 4. Junior Research Managers Mode of teaching: Workshop on clients site (max. 24 students) or online (max. 50 students). Teaching languages: English/German/French or Chinese (course material in English).
